I love dancing! Perhaps it goes back to my childhood when my parents used to practice in the living room and they looked so happy. My father used to let me dance with him by standing on his feet as he moved around the room and I couldn’t wait to do “real dancing”. I never really liked the standard dances teenagers were doing where you moved around, flapping your arms and never really connecting with your partner…at least that’s what I thought about it. Ballroom dancing was more my thing I guess but it wasn’t available to me until my early twenties and I cam across a dance studio. Slowly, I learned different types of dancing and finally found dance Festivals, dance competitions and dance conventions. I was in heaven and still am! I hope you get the chance to try ballroom dancing even if only for pleasure and not for any type of competition. It is a lot of fun and a great way to stay in shape. Just take a look at all those people who lose weight on Dancing With The Stars!

Flamenco
